We are happy to announce that eyeMobil is an official US distributor of the MicroREC 3D stereoscopic visualization system, the most versatile system available in ophthalmology! This system is now available commercially and you can demo it in your own OR to try it on during actual surgery! The MicroREC 3D system was released officially at ESCRS in Copenhagen in September 2025. This system can work with any Zeiss, Alcon or Leica/Wild microscope and is available in a head-less (binocular free) version and also a beamsplitter (binocular attached) version.
The MicroREC 3D has been introduced at half of the cost or even less than the other competing products. Monitor options include a 32" or 43" monitor.
Advantages of operating in 3D include the following:
1. Comfortable operating positions with the ability to move your neck freely during surgery to avoid common neck issues
2. Excellent for teaching institutions with great views for all students
3. Scrub technicians or anyone in the room can benefit from the same view the surgeon has
4. High fidelity view that allows visualizatin equal to your normal binocular view
5. Ability to record your surgeries in 3D for later review or educational lectures
